Stay up to date! Version 20.1.0 has arrived with an improved denture workflow, easier scan for edentulous cases and more! Here’s a full description of the new changes:
You now have the flexibility of choosing the scan type that is relevant for a specific case. The denture workflow allows for the choice of edentulous intraoral scanning, impression scanning and copy denture scanning. The workflow caters to combine the scan types as well.
The workflow for edentulous “bite scanning”, being 3D bite plates, wax rim, etc., has been made easier and there is now the option to choose from “Centric tray bite scanning” and “the normal bite scanning” in the Denture workflow.
The scan is now displayed with improved colors. Its increased resolution brings sharper details and improved contrast for a thorough inspection of the scan and an increased detail level in the evaluation of the dentition.
Saves time for the scanners that allow for fluorescence scanning. Previously the caries aid scan required two scans of the same patient. However, with version 20.1.0 of the TRIOS software this will require only one scan to capture all the data you need to be able to toggle between the intraoral scan and the caries aid view.
When scanning you will now experience a more visual approach that can help you have the best scan experiences. Illustrations will show step-by-step guidance and dynamic content will guide you through important features that can improve how you utilize your scanner and software.
The smart tip following the TRIOS 4 scanner has built-in electronics making it possible not only to heat the tip incredibly fast, but also to let the user know when it is time for calibration of the tip. Now the remaining “Usages until next calibration” is displayed on the Scanner Management page, ensuring that you can plan accordingly.
