The Dürr Dental VistaPano S makes digital 2D panoramic X-rays possible. The image sharpness and speed of this X-ray unit sets new standards. An OPG image is possible in just 7 seconds. The VistaPano S is also available as a Ceph, with which a scan is possible within only 4.1 seconds.
With the 7″ touch display, the handling and navigation of the VistaPano S is extremely user-friendly and comfortable. In the beginning you have the possibility to select the X-ray programme as well as the size of the patient, so an optimal workflow can be guaranteed.
The VistaPano S enables the imaging of an extended diagnosable jaw area including paranasal sinuses. There is also a programme for children which, among other things, shortens the scanning time and thus reduces radiation exposure. The X-ray unit offers a total of X-ray 17 programmes.
With this technology the image areas that best correspond to the patient anatomy are selected from a number of parallel layers. When these are combined, the result is a panoramic image. The reconstruction is based on the effective position of the bite, resulting in a clear image that also includes individually-angled teeth. This means that incorrect positioning can also be balanced out to a certain extent, which saves an enormous amount of time for the practice as well as for the patient.
The VistaPano S comes with a very modern and simple design. With its dimensions of 1.0 ×2.3 × 1.5m (W x D x H) it fits into almost any practice.
The VistaPano S has three laser guide lines that mark the exact alignment of the Frankfurt horizontal plane, median sagittal plane and film plane.
The VistaPano S Ceph enables rapid Cephalometric exposure with low X-ray dose. In addition, the scanning time is reduced to only 4.1 seconds (lat. head). This is particularly advantageous for young orthodontics patients.
The Ceph provides excellent image quality results in just 4.1 seconds.
In addition to more than 17 panoramic programmes, it also has various programmes for cephalometric exposures. These include for example Lateral head L, Head PA, SMV (submentovertex), Waters View or Hand.
The VistaPano S Ceph contains two high-end CsI sensors (for panoramic X-ray and Ceph function). This eliminates the need to switch sensors, which in turn minimises the risk of damage.
