Medit has just released a hotfix to improve the software’s stability and usability. In addition, Medit has introduced a new app for creating models. Details can be found below.
Medit Scan for Clinics V1.6.3 / 1.6.4
- Added the “Fill Major Holes” option to the program at the Complete stage. You can find the “Use Neighboring Colors for Filled Holes” in the Settings. Even large holes in the scan data can be filled in automatically allowing for an even faster scanning workflow.
- Improved Smart Scan Filtering performance by 30% thanks to enhanced machine learning, making recognition of teeth, gingiva, and stone models more efficient.
- Improved stability of scanning during the Occlusion stage.
Medit Model Builder App
Medit has introduced the Model Builder App which enables creation of models directly from the scan data. A base can be created, an articulator can be attached and labelling of models is possible.
