Automatic Tool Changer (ATC)

Load the 15-station ATC to mill continuously with multiple zirconia shades and different materials. The 15-station ATC can be loaded with a variety of diamond coated, carbide and DGSHAPE by Roland hybrid tools.

Automatic Disc Changer

You can load the six material adapters with any combination of material discs, and whatever shade of zirconia suits your needs. Just assign them to milling jobs, and let the automatic disc changer do the rest!

Automatic Air Pressure Control

The mill’s automated regulator changes the air volume based on material data through the CAM software. As a result, the need for manual air control adjustments is completely eliminated.

Precision 5-Axis Milling

The DWX-52DCi tilts and rotates discs simultaneously for the purpose of creating deep undercuts and milling large arch applications, plus other full mouth restorations with ease. This smooth and steady ball screw-driven system offers extraordinarily precise results.

Intelligent Tool Control (ITC)

The Intelligent Tool Control (ITC) is a feature of the simplified VPanel operation. This function swaps out tools directly from their position when they have reached their user-defined lifespan instinctively. The ITC does this swap by using a designated “partner tool” without needing to pause production. What’s more, the ITC has been updated to allow users to assign burs in any figuration they want in the ATC – Automatic Tool Changer.

Increased Milling Capabilities

The DWX-52D has a 15-station Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) to provide continuous milling. Moreover, it has auto-adjusted air pressure which switches to the right air volume automatically in response to the CAM software material data. Besides these features, the DWX-52D also provides automatic dust collection when opening the front cover to keep dust away from your surfaces.

Efficient Milling Set-Up

To create an efficient milling set-up, a snap-in clamp disc changing system with six material adapters minimizes damage during disc insertion and eliminates mounting errors. The snap-in system thus enables multi-device adapter integration. The DWX-52D and DWX-52DCi can use the same material adapters for a scalable and convenient milling solution. Furthermore, the DWX-52D features built-in storage drawers plus an included disc adapter rack to ensure an organized and efficient workspace.

Adaptor Rack for Increased Efficiency

Users can store material pre-mounted in the adapter thanks to the adaptor rack. This creates a faster turnaround time for loading and storing different materials.

Moreover, it provides an expanded 6-tool Automatic Tool Changer for uninterrupted milling and a VPanel user interface to easily monitor milling jobs. In addition to these features, the DWX-42W has a proprietary DGSHAPE spindle to facilitate high speed production.
